How To Beat White Supremacy And Save Democracy
Equality is a prize torn from the blood-soaked hands of your oppressors

White supremacy, as represented and weaponized by certain political factions, would have you believe it is invincible. That it is a fundamental force of the universe: inescapable, inevitable, and unbeatable. That you have no choice but to submit and accept your rightful place under its nasty heel, with it as your sovereign.
It's so much easier to win when the other side simply doesn't fight.
A government which invokes despair in the hearts of citizens to the point where apathy replaces action has achieved (albeit dubiously) the lofty ambition of the Declaration of Independence: power derived from the "consent" of the governed. It no longer matters that consent is being extracted through (the threat of) political violence:
When coercion achieves the same end result (surrender) as the actual act, they will blame you for not stopping them.
This is peak psychological warfare. It is also (ultimately) a losing strategy. It has the longest losing streak in the brief history of this country. More than the shame they are incapable of, this is the principal reason inordinate efforts are made to obscure/dilute Black history: enslaved Africans understood and demonstrated a fundamental truth about freedom:
Your capitulation is required for your subjugation.
If actual violence was efficacious in maintaining absolute control over a populace, Black bodies would STILL be enslaved. Our labor, creativity, and intellect would still be used to create the enormous wealth this country enjoys, without recognition or compensation. Our women would still be bred like cattle. Our children would still, on being born, receive deeds of property and not birth certificates.
Y'all think ANY the rights we enjoy were achieved out of the goodness of the hearts of enslavers?
The myth of american exceptionalism is rooted in the notion that we are a nation of equals. Point out the hypocrisy of the founding fathers having the gall to talk about "liberty and justice for all" while owning other humans, and the retort you'll get is: but look how far we've come. Point at the mountains of Black bodies upon which so many basic human rights (voting, housing, employment, the right to marry) were secured, and you'll be labeled "divisive."
Acknowledging social progress while burying why it was needed or how it was achieved, is a control measure.
Enslaved Africans and their descendants understood: no one was coming to liberate them. The lessons of our past reverberate into our future: freedom is not something you are given; it is something you claim. Equality is a prize torn from the blood-soaked hands of your oppressors. Rights are not inalienable if they can be revoked or denied by law. Liberty demands a blood sanctum: if you're unwilling or unable to put your personal safety as risk, you've already acceded to your own domination.
There's a whole generation of folx enjoying rights they never had to fight for. If you truly want to keep those rights, read what they're trying to ban. Established precedent exists for how to beat white supremacy and establish a true multinational democracy.
Just follow the leadership established and examples set by Black people.
